Sorry your message got buried in my inbox for so long… :/ I think if you would find such a course interesting and it seems affordable, I imagine it couldn’t hurt; but, since that wasn’t the path I took, I can’t really recommend it per se. I know that my way was very slow, since so much of it was unplanned and unintentional. :-) (I also transcribed oral histories for many years, I don’t think I mentioned that in my article.)
