I would love to think the situation would be different now than when I was in my twenties and early thirties (I’m 53 now), but…sadly, I do keep hearing stories of doctors etc. just not listening, still. I was not at all insistent, though; if a doctor said No I said Okay. Today, at least, I’d push back more. But thank you!
